A Head of Primary School is to offer leadership, inspiration and guidance; to manage the day to day routines of the Primary School ensuring excellent academic performance; to play a major role in the strategic planning for the whole school and to work effectively as a key member of the Leadership Team. This position is for an August 2018 start.
Part of a group of schools, the successful candidate will receive support and benefit from being part of a group which has schools in Malaysia and in many other countries around the world. There is a balance of local and expat teaching staff. The students will be from a mix of local and expatriate families.
The successful candidate will:
• Be suitably qualified with at least an Honours degree and PGCE, or a Bachelor of Education degree. A relevant leadership qualification is desirable yet not essential.
• Have experience of the IPC curriculum
• Be familiar with enquiry-based or thematic teaching approaches.
• Be willing to participate in the school’s extra-curricular programme.
• Have experience in using ICT-rich teaching environments.
