The school is looking for a Primary Teacher Librarian with a minimum bachelor's degree and 2 years full-time teaching experience (ideally with the IB) in that field to join them from23 July 2018.

- Xiamen is considered a second-tier city in China. It is a coastal city - complete with beaches and palm trees! With a population of around 2 million, it is a relatively small city by Chinese and Asian standards. It has a nice cosmopolitan feel but without the traffic and terrible pollution found in the mega cities of China and Xiamen is often listed as one of the cleanest and one of the most livable cities in China. Xiamen is located just a few degrees north of the Tropic of Cancer on the south-east coast of China, across from Taiwan. Xiamen has a temperate climate. Summers are hot and humid, with temperatures typically running about 95F/35C in the daytime. Winters are relatively mild, with the average temperature about 60F/16C. During the school year, the first two months are hot and humid; the next two and half months are very pleasant. In January and February it gets quite cold with inland air bringing dry, windy conditions. March through May is usually pleasant again.
